Yogurt Cake with Chocolate Chips

Ingredients
- 1 pot of natural yogurt (125g) (use the empty pot as a measure)
- 3 pots of flour
- 2 pots of sugar
- 1 pot of seed oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 packet of vanillin (or 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract)
- 150 g of chocolate chips
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C and butter and flour a cake tin (or line it with parchment paper).
- In a sufficiently large bowl, break the eggs and add the sugar. Whip with an electric mixer until you have a light and fluffy mixture.
- Add the yogurt and oil, mixing gently with a spoon or a spatula.
- In another bowl, combine the sifted flour with the baking powder, vanillin, and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the liquid mixture, mixing well to avoid lumps.
- To prevent the chocolate chips from settling at the bottom during baking, briefly toss them in flour, then fold them into the mixture, stirring gently.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and level the surface with a spatula.
- Bake in the oven for about 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
