Donut Peach and Almond Cake

Ingredients
- 100 g of all-purpose flour
- 100 g of almond flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g of soft butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 3 or 4 ripe donut peaches
- A pinch of salt
- Icing sugar for garnish
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- In a bowl, combine the soft butter and sugar and work them together until you have a frothy mixture.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, continuing to stir to blend them well.
- Incorporate the sifted flour with baking powder and almond flour, stirring gently to avoid lumps and add a pinch of salt.
- Peel the donut peaches, remove the pit and slice them thinly.
- Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured cake pan and arrange the peach slices on the surface of the cake, pressing them slightly into the batter.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the mold before unmolding it.
- Dust with icing sugar before serving.
