Three puff pastry treats

Preparation

- Peel the apples, remove the core and cut them into thin slices.

- Fold the squares of puff pastry like a wallet or as you prefer, sealing the edges.
- Brush the surface with beaten egg yolk.
- Bake the treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for about 20 minutes or until they become golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Puff pastry treat with custard and fresh fruit
Ingredients
- 1 roll of rectangular puff pastry
- 250 ml of custard
- Fresh fruit (strawberries, kiwi, bananas, etc.)
- Powdered sugar for decoration
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- Unroll the puff pastry and cut it into rectangles.
- Place the rectangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and prick them lightly with a fork.
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once cooled, spread a generous layer of custard on each puff pastry rectangle.
- Decorate with slices of fresh fruit of your choice.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Puff pastry treat with Nutella and hazelnuts
Ingredients
- 1 roll of rectangular puff pastry
- Nutella to taste
- Crushed hazelnuts to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- Unroll the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
- Spread Nutella in the center of each square, leaving a margin along the edges.
- Sprinkle with crushed hazelnuts.
- Fold the puff pastry into a triangle or roll the squares to form mini croissants.
- Brush them with a little milk or egg yolk.
- Bake on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
