Tagliatelle Salmon and Cream

Tagliatelle with salmon and cream is a creamy and flavorful dish, very popular and simple to prepare. Here is the recipe for 4 people:

Ingredients

  • 320 g of egg tagliatelle
  • 200 g of smoked salmon
  • 200 ml of cooking cream
  • 1 shallot (or a small onion)
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A bunch of fresh dill (optional)
  • A glass of dry white wine

Preparation

  1. Boil a pot of salted water to cook the tagliatelle.

  2. Meanwhile, thinly slice the shallot and cut the smoked salmon into strips.

  3. In a pan, heat some olive oil and sauté the shallot until it becomes translucent, without burning it.

  4. Add the smoked salmon to the pan and sauté quickly.

  5. Deglaze with a glass of white wine and let the alcohol evaporate.

  6. Lower the heat and pour the cream into the pan, then let it warm without boiling. Season with salt and pepper to your taste.

  7. When the water is boiling, cook the tagliatelle according to the package instructions for al dente pasta.

  8. Drain the tagliatelle and pour them into the pan with the salmon and cream sauce. Stir everything so that the tagliatelle is well coated with the sauce.

  9. If you like, add some chopped fresh dill for a touch of freshness and flavor.

  10. Serve the tagliatelle with salmon and cream hot immediately.
