Strawberry and Almond Muffins

Ingredients
- 150 g of sugar
- 100 g of soft butter
- 2 eggs
- 250 g of flour
- 1/2 packet of baking powder for sweets
- 120 ml of milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 g of fresh strawberries
- 50 g of flaked or chopped almonds
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C and prepare a muffin tin by lining it with paper liners.
- Wash and cut the strawberries into small pieces. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the soft butter with the sugar until you get a light and fluffy cream.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, continuing to beat after each addition.
- In another bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the butter and egg mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until just incorporated.
- Gently fold in the cut strawberries and almonds, mixing with a spatula to distribute them evenly in the batter.
- Fill the liners about 3/4 of their height.
- Bake the muffins and cook for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a muffin comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to a rack to complete cooling.
