Ingredients
- 100 g of dark chocolate
- 80 g of butter
- 2 eggs
- 50 g of sugar
- 20 g of flour
- Cocoa powder (for dusting)
- Butter and sugar (for the jars)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 160 °C (if convection oven, otherwise 180 °C in a static oven).
- Lightly butter and sugar 4 jars of about 125 ml each.
- Melt the chocolate with the butter in a bain-marie, being careful not to burn the chocolate.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until you obtain a light and foamy mixture.
- Add the sifted flour to the egg mixture and mix gently.
- Then incorporate the melted chocolate.
- Pour the preparation into the jars, filling them about three-quarters full.
- Place the jars in a baking dish and pour hot water into the dish, reaching about halfway up the jars.
- Bake in a bain-marie for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cakes are puffed up and cooked correctly (they should remain moist inside).
- Remove the jars from the oven and let them cool down.
Before serving, dust the cakes with cocoa powder. You can accompany these delights with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a contrast of flavors and temperatures.
