Scrambled Eggs
17/11/2023Scrambled eggs are a classic for breakfast but can also be enjoyed as a simple and fast dish for lunch or dinner. Here is a quick and easy version to prepare scrambled eggs.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of milk (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Butter or olive oil, for the pan
- Fresh aromatic herbs such as chopped chives or parsley (optional)
Preparation
- Crack the eggs into a bowl and lightly beat them with a fork or a whisk. If you like, add two tablespoons of milk to make the eggs creamier.
- Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a little butter or olive oil.
- Pour the eggs into the hot pan and wait a moment for them to start cooking from the bottom.
- With a spatula, start stirring the eggs gently from the edge towards the center.
- Continue to stir slowly, always bringing the more cooked part towards the center and letting the liquid part reach the heat of the pan.
- When the eggs are still slightly moist but not liquid, remove the eggs from the heat. They will continue to cook with their residual heat.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh aromatic herbs if desired.
