Curiosity
Salmon is often used in cuisines around the world for its soft texture and characteristic flavor that matches perfectly with the creaminess of ricotta or cream cheese. Moreover, the addition of ingredients like dill or lemon zest can further enhance the taste of the dish with fresh and aromatic notes.
If you prefer to make it even more Italian, you could add a touch of pesto to the filling or replace the salmon with grilled vegetables and cheese like stracchino or taleggio.
