Ricotta donut

Ingredients

  • 300g of 00 flour
  • 250g of ricotta
  • 160g of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 100ml of seed oil
  • Grated zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 sachet of baking powder for sweets
  • A pinch of salt
  • Powdered sugar (for decorating, optional)

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a light and fluffy mixture.
  2. Add the ricotta and continue to mix until it is well incorporated.
  3. Add the seed oil and the grated lemon zest, mixing everything well.
  4. Add the sifted flour, the baking powder, and a pinch of salt, stirring gently until the mixture is homogeneous.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the donut comes out clean.
  7. Let the donut cool before unmolding it.
