For the cheesecake cream, mix the creamy cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until you have a smooth mixture. Spread it over the cooled cake.
Curiosity
The traditional Red Velvet is a dessert of American origins and its peculiarity lies in the red coloring of the base, which originally was obtained thanks to a chemical reaction between the cocoa and the lactic acid of buttermilk. Today, to make things easier, most recipes use food coloring. The Red Velvet Cheesecake combines the tradition of this dessert with the creaminess of a cheesecake, creating a truly unique dessert.
