Curiosity
“Guazzetto” indicates, in culinary terms, a way of cooking shellfish or fish in a moist environment, in a light tomato sauce with other spices, typical of Mediterranean cuisine and particularly of coastal cooking. The term comes from the verb “guazzare,” which means “bath” or “immerse,” emphasizing the idea of immersing and cooking the fish in an aromatic liquid.
