  • 3 mature pears but not too soft
  • 250 g of mascarpone
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g of sugar

  • 1 packet of baking powder

  • Powdered sugar (optional, for decoration)
  • Grated zest of 1 lemon (optional, for added flavor)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. Peel the pears and cut them into cubes.
  3. In a bowl, blend the mascarpone with the sugar until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Incorporate the cooled melted butter.
  6. Add the sifted flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, and mix until you have a smooth and lump-free batter.

  8. Pour half of the batter into a previously buttered and floured cake pan.
