Ingredients

  • 250 g of flour
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 2 ripe pears
  • 100 g of melted butter
  • 2 eggs

  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour with the sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, lightly beat the eggs and add the milk and melted butter.
  4. Cut the pears into small cubes and the dark chocolate into pieces, setting some chocolate pieces aside for final decoration.
  5. Combine the liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until the mixture is homogeneous.
  6. Add the pear and chocolate cubes to the batter and mix gently.
  7. Fill the muffin cups up to 3/4 with the batter.
  8. Add the reserved chocolate pieces to the muffins.
  9. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the muffins are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Let the muffins cool on a wire rack before serving.
