Ingredients
- 250 g of flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 ml of milk
- 2 ripe pears
- 100 g of melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 100 g of dark chocolate
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- In a bowl, mix the flour with the sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, lightly beat the eggs and add the milk and melted butter.
- Cut the pears into small cubes and the dark chocolate into pieces, setting some chocolate pieces aside for final decoration.
- Combine the liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until the mixture is homogeneous.
- Add the pear and chocolate cubes to the batter and mix gently.
- Fill the muffin cups up to 3/4 with the batter.
- Add the reserved chocolate pieces to the muffins.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the muffins are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool on a wire rack before serving.
