Pavesini coconut and chocolate

Pavesini coconut and chocolate are a simple and delicious dessert, perfect for a quick dessert or a tasty snack. This is a decadent variant of the classic Pavesino, enriched with coconut and chocolate coating.

Ingredients

  • Pavesini (quantity as desired)
  • 100 g of grated coconut
  • 100 ml of coconut milk or regular milk
  • 200 g of dark chocolate
  • 30 g of butter

Preparation

  1. Start by melting the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Add the butter to the melted chocolate and mix until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the coconut milk with the grated coconut. If you wish the coconut to have a softer texture, you can gently heat the coconut milk before adding the grated coconut.
  3. Take a Pavesino and spread some of the grated coconut mixture on it, then cover it with another Pavesino to form a “sandwich.”
  4. Dip the stuffed Pavesinis into the melted chocolate, making sure to cover them evenly.
  5. Place the chocolate-coated Pavesinis on a sheet of parchment paper and let them rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, until the chocolate has solidified.
  6. Once cooled, your Pavesini coconut and chocolate are ready to be served!
