Curiosity

Gorgonzola is a blue-veined cheese typical of some Italian regions, particularly Lombardy and Piedmont. It is characterized by its mold streaks, which contribute to the unique flavor and intensity of the cheese. In Italian cuisine, gorgonzola is often used for its melting properties, making it an excellent choice for creamy sauces and risottos. Walnuts add a pleasant crunchiness and a distinctive flavor that pairs wonderfully with the sweetness of gorgonzola.
