Orange Muffins
17/11/2023Here is a delicious recipe to prepare Orange Muffins with an Italian twist.
Ingredients
- 250 g of all-purpose flour
- 150 g of sugar
- 100 ml of vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 150 ml of orange juice (better if fresh)
- Grated zest of one organic orange
- 1 packet of baking powder for sweets
- A pinch of salt
- (Optional) 50 g of dark chocolate chips
Preparation
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a light and fluffy mixture.
- Add the vegetable oil and continue mixing well to incorporate.
- Add the orange juice and zest to the mixture, stirring gently.
- In another bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until the flour is no longer visible, to keep the muffins soft.
- (Optional) Add the chocolate chips and gently mix with a spatula.
- Prepare a muffin tin with paper liners and distribute the mixture, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (356 °F) and bake the muffins for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool before serving.
