Orange Ciambellone

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 300 g of all-purpose flour
  • 200 g of granulated sugar
  • 100 ml of seed oil
  • 100 ml of fresh orange juice
  • Grated zest of 1 untreated orange
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C and butter and flour a bundt cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar until you get a light and frothy mixture.
  3. Add the oil and continue to mix.
  4. Mix in the orange juice and zest, blending well.
  5. Sift the flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt, then gradually add it to the liquid mixture, stirring until there are no lumps.
  6. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the ciambellone comes out clean.
  7. Let the ciambellone cool before unmolding it.
