Ingredients

  • 250 ml of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 300 g of all-purpose flour
  • 100 ml of vegetable oil

  • Icing sugar for decorating (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (356 °F) and prepare cupcake liners or grease and flour muffin tins.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is light and frothy.
  3. Gradually add milk and vegetable oil, continuing to stir to integrate the liquid ingredients well.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Add this mix of dry ingredients to the liquid mixture, stirring until you get a smooth and lump-free batter.
  5. Fill the cupcake liners or muffin tins to about 2/3 of their capacity with the batter.
  6. Bake the cupcakes for about 20-25 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the milk cupcakes from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
  8. If desired, dust the cupcakes with icing sugar before serving.
