Ingredients
- 500 ml of milk
- 250 g of mascarpone
- 150 g of sugar
- 300 g of dry biscuits (such as Oro Saiwa)
- Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
- Cold espresso coffee (optional)
- Coffee or chocolate liqueur (optional, for adults)
Preparation
- Begin by heating the milk without boiling it and add the sugar, stirring to dissolve it completely.
- In a separate bowl, work the mascarpone with a spatula or an electric mixer until it becomes creamy.
- Add the warm milk to the mascarpone sugar, mixing gently until a homogeneous cream is obtained.
- If you wish to add a touch of flavor and it’s not intended for children, you can incorporate some coffee or chocolate liqueur into the cream.
- Lightly dip the cookies in the cold espresso coffee; this step is optional but will give a stronger taste to your cake.
- In a rectangular or square mold, alternate layers of cookies and cream, starting and ending with a layer of cream.
- Leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, better if overnight, to allow the flavors to blend well.
- Before serving, dust with unsweetened cocoa powder.
