Mediterranean Sea Bream

Mediterranean Sea Bream is a simple, flavorful, and colorful dish that brings the scents and tastes of the Mediterranean to the table. Here is the recipe for preparing Mediterranean Sea Bream for 4 people.

Ingredients

  • 4 sea breams (about 300-400 grams each), already cleaned and descaled
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 untreated lemon, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • A few sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 1 handful of pitted black olives
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  2. Wash the cherry tomatoes well and cut them in half.
  3. In a large bowl, season the sea breams with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Inside each sea bream, insert a slice of lemon, a sprig of fresh rosemary, and a clove of garlic.
  4. Arrange the sea breams in an oiled baking dish. Add the remaining lemon slices, cherry tomatoes, black olives, and a little more rosemary around them.
  5. Drizzle everything with a little extra virgin olive oil and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the sea bream is golden and the skin easily detaches from the flesh.
  6. Once cooked, remove the garlic clove and rosemary from the inside of the sea breams and serve immediately.
