Ingredients

  • 1 head of romaine or iceberg lettuce (largest leaves)
  • 200 grams of cooked and smoked turkey breast
  • 100 grams of canned corn
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 small red onion
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon juice
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

  1. Start by carefully washing the lettuce leaves, then gently dry them and select the largest and most intact to make the baskets.

  2. Dice the cooked turkey breast and put it in a large bowl.

  3. Drain the corn and add it to the bowl with the turkey.

  4. Wash the tomatoes, remove the seeds and dice them as well, then add to the other ingredients in the bowl.

  5. Peel the red onion and slice it very finely, then add it to the other ingredients.

  6. In a small bowl, prepare a sauce by mixing the mayonnaise with the mustard, add a pinch of salt, pepper, a few drops of lemon juice, and mix until you get a homogeneous dressing.

  7. Pour the dressing over the turkey salad and mix well to coat the ingredients.

  8. Arrange the lettuce leaves on plates as if they were small baskets and fill with the turkey salad.
