Ingredients
- 200 g of all-purpose flour
- 150 g of sugar
- 100 g of soft butter
- 3 eggs
- Grated zest of 2 lemons
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 120 ml of milk
- 1 packet of baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 100 g of dark chocolate
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- In a large bowl, cream the soft butter with the sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the grated lemon zest.
- Add the lemon juice and mix well.
- Add the milk and stir until the mixture is homogeneous.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually incorporate them into the mixture, stirring gently until you have a smooth batter.
- Break the dark chocolate into pieces and fold it into the batter.
- Pour the batter into a previously buttered and floured mold.
- Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
