Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
- 250 ml of whole milk
- 2 tablespoons of bitter cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon of sugar (or to taste)
- 50 g of dark chocolate, finely chopped
- A pinch of salt
Preparation
- In a pot, mix the cocoa powder with the sugar and a little cold milk to create a smooth paste.
- Add the rest of the milk and the pinch of salt and place over medium heat.
- Heat the mixture until it is hot but do not let it boil.
- Add the finely chopped chocolate and stir until it is completely melted and the drink is smooth and velvety.
- You can increase the chocolate’s intensity or sweeten it further by adjusting the amounts of chocolate and sugar.
- Pour the hot chocolate into a cup, and if you wish, you can garnish with whipped cream or a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
