Honey, Lemon, and Ginger Ciambella

Preparation

  3. Add the seed oil and continue to beat until it is completely incorporated.
  4. Mix in the honey, continuing to stir.
  5. Add the grated lemon zest and freshly grated ginger.
  6. Gradually combine the flour with the baking powder and pinch of salt, mixing until you obtain a smooth, lump-free batter.
  7. Butter and flour a ring cake mold, or line it with parchment paper.
  8. Pour the mixture into the mold and level the surface with a spatula or spoon.
  9. Bake for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the ciambella comes out clean.
  10. Remove the ciambella from the oven and let it cool on a cooling rack.
