Grilled Salmon

Grilled salmon is a simple, healthy, and tasty dish. Here’s a recipe to make it:

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon steaks (about 150-200 g each)
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Aromatic herbs to taste (dill, parsley, thyme)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the grill to a medium-high temperature.

  2. In the meantime, in a small bowl, mix the olive oil with the chopped garlic, lemon juice, aromatic herbs, salt, and pepper.

  3. Brush the salmon steaks with the marinade.

  4. When the grill is hot, lightly grease the grill with oil to prevent the salmon from sticking.

  5. Place the salmon steaks on the grill with the skin side down and cook for about 3-4 minutes, then carefully turn over and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until the fish is cooked to your liking (the flesh should flake easily with a fork).

  6. Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

Serve hot, with an extra sprinkle of lemon juice and garnished with fresh aromatic herbs. Grilled salmon is excellent served with fresh salads, grilled vegetables, or plain rice. Enjoy your meal!
