Green Tea Matcha and Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- 200 grams of all-purpose flour
- 150 grams of granulated sugar
- 100 grams of soft butter
- 3 eggs
- 100 grams of chocolate chips
- 120 ml of whole milk
- 2 tablespoons of matcha green tea powder
- 1 packet of baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, combine the sifted flour, baking powder, and matcha green tea powder.
- In another bowl, cream the soft butter with the sugar until smooth. Add a pinch of salt.
- Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Alternately add some of the flour mixture and some of the milk to the butter and sugar mixture, mixing until all ingredients are used up and the batter is smooth.
- Gently fold the chocolate chips into the batter, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into a previously buttered and floured cake pan.
- Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before unmolding.
