Spinach Green Pasta

Ingredients
- 300 g of pasta (preferably tagliatelle or fettuccine)
- 200 g of fresh spinach
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan (optional)
Preparation
- Start by washing the fresh spinach under running water to remove any soil residue. Drain well.
- In a large skillet, heat the extra virgin olive oil over medium heat and add the peeled and crushed garlic cloves. Brown for a minute.
- Add the spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.
- Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta following the package instructions for al dente.
- Drain the pasta and pour it into the skillet with the spinach. Mix well to combine the ingredients.
- If you wish, you can add grated Parmesan to make the dish richer.
Serve the pasta hot, with an additional sprinkle of Parmesan if liked.
