Grandma's Bundt Cake
17/11/2023Grandma’s Bundt Cake is a classic homemade dessert, ideal for breakfast or a wholesome snack. Here is the traditional recipe:
Ingredients
- 300 g of flour
- 250 g of sugar
- 100 ml of seed oil
- 100 ml of milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 packet of baking powder
- The grated zest of 1 lemon
- 1 pinch of salt
- Butter and flour for the mold
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a frothy and light mixture.
- Add the oil slowly, continuing to stir.
- Add the milk and then the grated lemon zest.
- Separately, sift the flour with the baking powder and the pinch of salt, then slowly incorporate them into the liquid mixture, stirring to prevent the formation of lumps.
- Butter and flour a bundt cake mold and pour the mixture inside.
- Bake the Bundt Cake and let it cook for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the Bundt Cake cool before unmolding it from the pan.
Once cooled, the Bundt Cake can be dusted with powdered sugar for a sweeter and more inviting finish.
