Curiosity
Ginger biscuits are a classic in Christmas pastry shops in many Nordic and Anglo-Saxon countries. In Italy, adding spices like ginger and cinnamon to sweets is quite common in the Christmas confectionery tradition, and these biscuits fit perfectly into the panorama of typical treats of this period. Once cooled, they can also be decorated with royal icing if you wish to add a touch of sweetness and color.
