Ingredients

  • 400 grams of fresh salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and mix well to obtain a homogeneous marinade.
  3. Remove the skin from the salmon fillet and cut it into uniformly sized bites, about 3-4 cm on each side.
  4. Dip the salmon bites into the marinade, making sure they are completely covered.
  5. If you want to add extra crunchiness, you can roll the marinated bites in sesame seeds.
  6. Arrange the salmon bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until the salmon is golden on the outside and still moist on the inside.
