Crispy Edamer

Ingredients
- 200 g of Edamer cheese
- 100 g of flour
- 2 eggs
- 200 g of breadcrumbs
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oil for frying
Preparation
- Cut the Edamer into sticks or wedges, depending on your preference.
- Prepare three deep plates: in the first put the flour, in the second beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper, and in the third put the breadcrumbs.
- Coat each Edamer wedge first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs. Make sure it is well covered to create a crispy crust.
- Set the breaded wedges aside and let them rest for 5-10 minutes, so the breading sets better.
- Meanwhile, heat a generous amount of oil in a deep pan or a deep fryer to about 175 °C.
- Fry the Edamer wedges until they are golden and crispy. This should take about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve immediately to enjoy their crispiness.
