Whipped Cream Donut

Ingredients
- 250 ml of fresh whipping cream
- 3 eggs
- 300 g of sugar
- 1 packet of vanillin or the seeds of a vanilla pod
- 500 g of type 00 flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- Icing sugar (for decoration)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C and butter and flour a donut mold.
- In a bowl, whip the eggs with the sugar until you get a light and fluffy mixture.
- Add the fresh cream and continue to mix until perfectly blended.
- Incorporate the vanillin or vanilla seeds into the mixture.
- In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and pinch of salt.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the egg and cream mixture, mixing gently from the bottom up to prevent the mixture from deflating.
- Pour the batter into the prepared mold and level the surface.
- Bake the donut for about 35-40 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Take the donut out of the oven and let it cool in the mold for about 10 minutes, then transfer it onto a rack and let it cool completely.
- Once cooled, dust the donut with icing sugar before serving.
