Coconut Treats

Coconut treats, also known as coconut balls or cocco rapé, are a delicious and simple dessert to prepare. Here is the classic recipe:

Ingredients

  • 250 grams of coconut flour
  • 200 grams of powdered sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the coconut flour and powdered sugar.
  2. Add the egg whites and vanilla extract (if you are using it) and mix well until you have a uniform dough.
  3. Take a bit of the dough at a time and form balls the size of a walnut.
  4. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each treat.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  6. Bake the coconut treats in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden brown slightly.
  7. Remove the treats from the oven and allow them to cool completely before serving.
