Coconut Biscuits with White Chocolate Heart

Ingredients
- 200 g of flour
- 120 g of sugar
- 80 g of butter, at room temperature
- 100 g of grated coconut
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- About 100 g of white chocolate
- A bit of milk, if necessary
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- In a large bowl, mix the soft butter with the sugar until you get a creamy mixture.
- Add the egg and continue to work the mixture.
- In another bowl, combine the flour with the baking powder, the pinch of salt, and the grated coconut. Mix the dry ingredients well.
- Add the dry ingredients to the mixture of butter, sugar, and egg, mixing until you obtain a homogeneous dough. If it is too dry, you can add a tablespoon of milk at a time, until you reach the desired consistency.
- Form small balls of dough and flatten them slightly to create disks.
- Cut the white chocolate into small pieces and place a piece in the center of each biscuit.
- Fold the edges of the biscuit towards the center to cover the white chocolate and shape again into a ball.
- Place the balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between them.
- Bake the biscuits for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are golden.
- Let the biscuits cool before serving.
