Cinnamon Cake

Ingredients

  • 200 g of all-purpose flour
  • 200 g of granulated sugar

  • 150 ml of milk

  • Icing sugar (optional, for decoration)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F) and prepare a cake pan by greasing it with some butter and dusting it with a bit of flour.
  2. In a bowl, mix the sifted flour with the baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Melt the butter and let it cool down.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a light and frothy mixture.
  5. Add the melted butter to the egg and sugar mixture and mix well.
  6. Gradually incorporate the flour mix, alternating it with the milk, and keep mixing until you obtain a smooth batter.
