Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies

Ingredients
- 150 g of toasted hazelnuts
- 200 g of all-purpose flour
- 50 g of cocoa powder
- 100 g of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 80 g of soft butter
- 50 g of chocolate chips
- A few tablespoons of milk (if necessary)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- Coarsely chop the toasted hazelnuts.
- In a bowl, mix the flour with the cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the egg and the soft butter, cut into pieces. Work the dough with your hands or with an electric mixer until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- Incorporate the chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips into the dough.
- If the mixture is too dry, add a few tablespoons of milk to reach the desired consistency.
- Form small mounds of dough with your hands or use a spoon and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each one.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are slightly golden.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack before serving.
