Chocolate Granola
17/11/2023Here is a delicious chocolate granola recipe that you can easily prepare at home.
Ingredients
- 300 g of rolled oats
- 100 g of a mix of nuts and seeds (such as walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds)
- 50 g of dehydrated coconut flakes
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons of coconut oil (or other vegetable oil)
- 100 g of dark chocolate, chopped, or chocolate chips
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 170 °C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, nuts and seeds mix, dehydrated coconut, cocoa powder, and pinch of salt.
- Melt the coconut oil and honey (or maple syrup) in a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave and pour over the dry mixture. Make sure to mix well to coat all the ingredients.
- Spread the granola evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even browning.
- Once baked, allow the granola to cool completely on the baking sheet.
- When the granola is cool, add the chopped chocolate or chocolate chips and stir.
- Store the chocolate granola in an airtight container at room temperature.
