Ingredients
- 200 g of all-purpose flour
- 200 g of sugar
- 100 g of soft butter or vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 100 ml of milk
- 50 g of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the soft butter or vegetable oil to the mixture and continue mixing with an electric mixer.
- In a separate bowl, sift the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk, and fold gently until you get a smooth and homogeneous batter.
- Butter and flour a donut pan (or use non-stick spray if you prefer).
- Pour the batter into the pan and level the surface.
- Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center of the donut comes out clean.
- Remove the donut from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar to decorate.
