Chicken Breasts in Milk

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 300 ml of whole milk
  • 25 g of butter
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Flour, for dusting the chicken breasts

Preparation

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides, then lightly flour them.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic cloves for a couple of minutes to flavor the butter.
  3. Remove the garlic from the skillet and add the chicken breasts. Brown them on both sides until they are well-colored.
  4. Once the chicken breasts are golden, add the milk and rosemary sprigs.
  5. Cook over medium-low heat with the lid on for about 20-30 minutes, until the milk has thickened into a cream and the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Adjust for salt and pepper and serve hot.
