Chicken breast with mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 300 g of champignon mushrooms or mixed mushrooms

Preparation

  1. Clean the mushrooms by removing any earthy residues and slice them. If you are using pre-cleaned mushrooms, you can simply cut them into slices.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts so that they have a uniform thickness. You can also cut them into strips if you prefer.
  3. In a large frying pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil and add the crushed garlic cloves and rosemary. Let them flavor for a minute.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the pan and cook them over medium-high heat until they are golden on both sides. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  9. Put the chicken back in the pan with the mushrooms and let it season together for a few minutes, until the chicken is well cooked and the flavors have blended.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
