Ingredients

  • 400 g of bucatini
  • 400 g of fresh sardines
  • 1 small onion

Preparation

  1. Clean the sardines by removing the head, guts, and central bone, then wash and dry them.
  2. Finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté them in a pan with the extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Once the onion has become transparent, add the sardines and let them cook for a couple of minutes.
  4. Add the tomato puree, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
