17/11/2023Here’s a delicious recipe for chocolate brownies with chocolate mini eggs, which are a sweet addition making them particularly suitable during the Easter holidays.
Ingredients
- 200 g of dark chocolate
- 150 g of unsalted butter
- 250 g of granulated sugar
- 3 medium-sized eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 100 g of all-purpose flour
- 20 g of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 g of chocolate mini eggs (or more, to taste)
Preparation
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C (350 degrees F) and line a 20x20 cm (8x8 inch) square baking pan with parchment paper.
-
Break up the dark chocolate and melt in a double boiler with the butter. Stir to ensure that the chocolate is completely melted. Allow to cool slightly.
-
In a medium bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and stir.
-
Fold the melted chocolate and butter into the egg mixture, mixing gently.
-
Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and salt into another bowl, then fold these dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until you have a smooth and homogeneous batter.
-
Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, distribute half of the chocolate mini eggs evenly, then add the remaining batter and top with the remaining mini eggs.
-
Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few crumbs attached (it should not come out completely dry, or else the brownies will be overcooked).
-
Allow to cool completely in the pan, then cut into squares and serve.
